		<description>I definitely agree that the iPhone is much better off without a physical keyboard. 

But I strongly disagree with Gruber&#039;s statement that iPhone users are probably roughly just as fast, maybe a bit slower but probably not by much than BlackBerry users with a physical keyboard.

Having used both fairly extensively, there is no doubt in my mind that the BB physical keyboard is a far superior device for entering text. I love the iPhone auto-correction, and it does work great in Greek, but there&#039;s just no way you&#039;re going to get to BB levels of speed with a virtual keyboard.

As I said above though, entering text is not the only thing a phone is supposed to do. Overall, I much prefer the iPhone&#039;s virtual keyboard too. Overall it certainly blows the BB away as a device and I don&#039;t think it ever will get a physical keyboard not suffer for it. 

Still, I hope I always also have a BB by my side for the times I need to be furiously typing work emails while walking in and out of public transportation, down the street, or up and down stairs.</description>
